If your opinion is its the best event in the history of gaming, great. Is the event completable if you dont spend BC ? No. If you cant see the diference, youre not only lazy on getting the info but stupid as well.Ħ9 BC spent and I did 99% of the event in less than 24hours, and in the end I will go + on BC's. Being lazy to find out and seek info on how to play through the event, is not the same as you have to spend money on things to make it. And the baits in the game, I have almost all mine left, I caught all the fishes using amazon baits, leeches and shrimps. Dont you have a paper and pen where you live? Templates? Cant you assemble a rod setup without template? Its all QOL and nothing you "need" to play the game. Why do you need to spend BC's on markers, its a QOL. On top of that I could also sell the glasses I got in one mission which would give another 24 BC. If I count all the BC I earned, and add just the first achievements of fireworks, catching the furry trout, salmon, burbot, and casting snowballs I will get 90 BC's in the end back, making 21 BC profit. I spent 69 baitcoins for 25 tokens to get me going, and im already done with all the missions except the collect snow.
Not even the baits from the socks is free, you spend a ton on traveling costs for it and pay with more grind.Įverything about the event is free.
Only giving part is players giving them money for bait coins and xmas packs. Its a piece of crap grind behind a paywall to even get going. Nothing about this even is in the spirit of giving. And the few bait coins you get in-game is so limited, last thing you need to spend them on is playing a jukebox lol. Nothing about the event is "free" you wil spend more BC than you get back from the missions. Yeah and then you can buy more bait coins later when you need them for a lure/markers/templates, or I suppose you can just wear the "free" fishing cosmetics instead.
